“Communication” Leadership Workshop at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences

Once again this year, as part of our BODE Leadership Program, we worked closely with 24 students from Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences to explore the topic of “Communication as a Leader.”

This evolved into a dynamic workshop in which we examined expectations for leaders as well as effective communication in day-to-day leadership.

The following topics were particularly emphasized:

✅ What typical difficulties can arise in daily communication?

✅ What methods can be used to defuse misunderstandings and conflicts?

✅ How can a leader provide constructive feedback even when addressing difficult topics?

In addition, the students had the opportunity to test their own communication skills through practical exercises and explore differences in communication styles.

We would like to thank the participants for the lively exchange, which provided us with many valuable perspectives and insights. Many thanks also to Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences for the invitation—we’d love to participate again!
