Cybersecurity as the Foundation of Modern Mobility

Increasing digitalization is continuously transforming rail transportation. Intelligent systems, connected components, and digital processes are creating new opportunities—while at the same time, cybersecurity requirements are growing.

As a member of UNIFE and the VDB, we are actively engaged in industry-wide dialogue on current developments and requirements related to cybersecurity in the rail sector. European initiatives such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) underscore the growing importance of comprehensive protection for digital systems and critical infrastructure.

Another important milestone for BODE: In June 2025, we successfully completed our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for our information security management system, thereby laying the foundation for even stronger information security.

At BODE, cybersecurity is an integral part of the development of our system solutions. As a supplier to critical infrastructure, we are aware of our responsibility. That is why we actively monitor technological developments, focus on future requirements, and develop secure solutions that help ensure the long-term reliability and availability of modern rail vehicles.
