The BODE boarding management unit (BMU) reduces the number of electrical interfaces in a door system and improves the interaction between vehicle and passenger. The BMU is equipped with a sensor that replaces all conventional controls and safety devices. This sensor technology also offers gap monitoring between the vehicle and platform as well as platform detection.

With this system, BODE is shaping the sustainable and future-oriented mobility of tomorrow.
